SEG 101 Workshop: Designing Your Social Enterprise Business Model

The start-up business planning process is an iterative process. Typically, it begins with a high-level concept, and is adapted and refined as entrepreneurs learn about customer needs, markets, and product/service requirements over time. Entrepreneurs gradually incorporate the feedback they receive in eventually developing a detailed business plan. Business Planning 101 previews the topics that go into a social enterprise plan (enterprise positioning, marketing basics, business models, operations and financial planning), with the first major objective to determine the enterprise’s basic feasibility.
