Eventually your social enterprise will need a home of its own—whether an office, workshops, or raw space. This workshop provides participants with an introduction to the fundamentals of commercial real estate, particularly identifying and leasing space for social enterprises. Individual workshop content will be tailored to the particular needs of participants.

Community Table: Improving Health Outcomes with Innovative Models

We all understand that access to healthy food is of upmost importance to overall health. However, for many, access to nutritious food is not an option. Brockton Neighborhood Health Center aims to fix this problem with their innovative healthcare delivery model.

Join us in welcoming Mary Lynch, of Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, to hear more about their innovative co-location with Vicente’s Tropical Grocery Store. The clinic offers a teaching kitchen that provides classes for patients with nutrition-related chronic disease. In addition, the grocery store includes Shopping Marketing Interventions to promote produce purchase. By aligning healthcare services and support for healthy eating, the center and market makes it easier for patients to receive well-rounded healthcare.

One table, one conversation, and a great way for eaters, advocates, or those curious to connect and exchange ideas. Come when you can and bring your lunch or snack. Free and open to all!
