Beautiful Day’s mission is to build on-ramps to employment for newly arriving refugees. We align our customers’ demand for locally sourced artisanal food products with refugees’ need for culturally-sensitive on-the-job training. Our Providence Granola Project produces delicious, mostly organic, gourmet granola and provides paid job training for newly arrived refugees. By learning to make and sell our products, refugees gain critical skills that prepare them for their first US jobs, while our customers become educated about refugee resettlement. 100% of our sales revenue is re-invested in our programs.
