For Food Entrepreneurs

Rhode Island is a foodie state, but despite our many great restaurants, small farms, premier culinary institutions and organizational momentum behind local food, Rhode Islanders still lack access to healthy, nutritious meals. Rhode Island’s population faces a high level of food insecurity and only 1% of overall diets are local produce. Social entrepreneurs are working to address this paradox and help our community to overcome barriers to food access in Rhode Island.

How We Support Local Food Entrepreneurs

We offer individualized business coaching and advising for food entrepreneurs to help them gain industry expertise, tap into new networks and resources, and build their business knowledge and skills.

Join Our Food Community

Each month we host a Community Table event where people come together to share and learn about food organizations and initiatives from around the state. View our events.
