› Beautiful Day

Beautiful Day is a job-training onramp for refugees right here in Rhode Island. The delicious granola they make is always available for order!

› Bootblack Brand

Learn how to make your own cocktails at home. Bootblack Brand is sending people recipes by email. Get their enews here.

› The Elisha Project

The Elisha Project continues to work with the city of Central Falls and various cities throughout Rhode Island, providing prepared food and fresh produce. To date, they have supported feeding over 300 families in Central Falls alone.

› Farm Fresh RI

Farm Fresh RI has launched Market Mobile, using their wholesale service to get fresh food from local farms delivered right to people’s homes. See this story about it in the Providence Journal.

› FreshConn

Freshconn delivers the farmers market right to your door with the tap of your finger! They just posted a new ebook for children you can download and read with your kids.

› Granny Squibb’s

Granny Squibb’s is donating their iced tea to accompany free lunches for children provided by the Ocean House’s Off the Menu Food Truck in Westerly. They’ve also posted a page called “Rhode Island Brands We Love” to encourage us to #supportlocal.

› Hope’s Harvest

Hope’s Harvest is a gleaning organization that collects leftover harvest and recovers food for delivery to those who need it. Register as a volunteer or donate to support the work ahead.

› Pat’s Pastured

Pat’s Pastured and a group of other local farms have banded together to offer you a virtual farmers market with delivery to your door. It couldn’t be simpler. Click to place your order. Put a cooler on your porch and it will be magically filled with local meat, eggs, cheese, oysters, vegetables, and flowers.

› Seven Stars Bakery

Seven Stars is now offering a prepaid bread market with curbside pickup. They have also added a “Donate Bread to Charity” item to their pre-order menu. 100% of contributions will go to increase daily donations of bread to Amos House, Crossroads, The Elisha Project, We Share Hope, WBNA Neighbors Helping Neighbors, and senior centers in Pawtucket and Cranston.

› Urban Greens Food Co-op

Urban Greens is offering curbside pickup and safe hours for shopping. 

› What Cheer Flower Farm 

What Cheer Flower Farm started a Virtual Bouquet Initiative, inviting folks to share photos of bouquets online. Submit yours here and follow them on Facebook to see posts.

› EcoRI News

EcoRI News has expanded its environmental reporting to include coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consider donating to support this valuable source of independent journalism.

› Green Tenderfoot 

Green Tenderfoot is a local zero-waste refill station for clean household and body care products. You can book an appointment or order a delivery. Make appointments at their page here and follow @Greentenderfoot on Instagram for community updates.

› Asthenis Pharmacy

Asthenis Pharmacy is a Providence-based community pharmacy focused on health education. They are helping their clients stay home during the pandemic by administering  in-home flu shots and delivering medication.

› Center for Resilience

The Center for Resilience, based in Providence, is offering Free Nightly Mindfulness Sessions available to everyone. It’s a moment of peace and connection during a time of social distancing. Find them on Facebook @CenterForResilience and navigate to their mindfulness posts for the Zoom link and password.

› Dementia Training for Life

Dementia Training for Life improves the lives of individuals living with dementia by training the people who care for them. They are now hosting a virtual Memory Cafe every Monday and Thursday at 1:00 pm (EST), and anyone, anywhere, is welcome to join in. › Forsythia Behavioral Health Services

Dr. Simon Desjarlais of Forsythia Behavioral Health Services started the first urgent care center in the state for behavioral health and psychiatric issues. Realizing these are tough times for everyone, they are offering psychiatric urgent care 11am-5pm M-F. Call 401-424-5200.

› Hands in Harmony

Hands in Harmony provides neurological music therapy services to a range of clients. They are reaching out to their clients using virtual learning and Telehealth, and their music therapy group, The Aphasia Clefs, are singing together remotely! See more at their Facebook page.

› Higher Ground International NGO

The mission of Higher Ground International is to improve the lives of people living in the rural villages of West Africa, while providing meaningful opportunities for workforce and community development to the West African community living in Providence. Together with a team of volunteers, they are providing food and caring for local seniors through their Sweetie Care Elders program.

› Kindred Community Acupuncture

› Fuerza Laboral

› GoPeer

GoPeer connects K-12 students with nearby college undergraduates for in-person online tutoring. GoPeer tutors are now offering two free hours of lessons to students who are at home in virtual school. Learn more here.
