Join our cohort and expert-led programming designed to guide you through every stage of your business or nonprofit journey. Each program is followed by ongoing SEG service support, to ensure that participants can continue to access support as needed. All program applications close on August 5th.
Spring 2024 Microgrant Recipients
SEG announced the 18 small businesses and nonprofits who received a Spring 2024 Microgrant.
$87,000 in funding was granted to both SEG alumni and entrepreneurs who received training from an SEG partner organization. The Microgrant Fund is designed to help entrepreneurs and small businesses with early investments that can propel ideas to the next level.
Julie Owens PBN Leaders & Achievers Honoree!
SEG CEO, Julie Owens was named among the honorees for the Providence Business News's 2024 Leaders and Achievers Awards Program. The program recognizes business leaders based on their leadership, achievements and longstanding commitment to the business community. They are also recognized for their community service and mentoring efforts
Julie will be celebrated along with the fellow 24 honorees at an awards ceremony hosted by Providence Business News in August.
2024 Impact Business Showcase
Congrats to the 5 Accelerator graduates on their phenomenal business pitches at the RI Impact Showcase!
The prize recipients included: Eric Moyal of Project Insulin who received the 10K Citizens Prize, Vincent Emery of Lil' Rhody Coffee Company receiving the 5K Kelly Fund Prize, and Elisabeth Borno of BORN-O-UNIFORMS earning the 1K Audience Choice Prize.
