The SEG Accelerator provides social entrepreneurs with the tools, networks and resources to validate their idea, understand their customer, and formalize growth strategies from fundraising to social impact measurement.

General Program Overview

The SEG Accelerator provides a high-quality and flexible blended learning platform and offers impact entrepreneurs access to:

  • Curriculum developed and delivered in partnership with Brown University
  • Practical workshops led by advisors and experienced social entrepreneurs
  • One-on-one coaching with business and community leaders
  • A network of advisors with industry and functional expertise
  • Priority access to the SEG Loan Fund

We seek entrepreneurs who:

  • Are motivated and coachable
  • Will dedicate 15+ hours weekly
  • Have sought and incorporated customer or stakeholder feedback
  • Have conducted a beta or pilot, or received some revenue (recommended but not necessary)

Cost 

The cost to participate in our Accelerator program is usually $500. However, given the challenging times and SEG’s commitment to ensuring our services are accessible to everyone, we have altered our fee structure and are asking participants to pay only as much as they can afford, with no minimum payment required.
