Description: The Center for Dynamic Learning (CDL) inspires youth to cultivate career readiness and workforce skills through science, art, and theatre programs. By targeting the entirety of the STEAMM acronym, science, technology, engineering, arts, math, and manufacturing, CDL places itself at the forefront of the ever-evolving description of a successful 21st century adult; making sure to impart essential social competencies as well as college and career ready content knowledge. With passion and purpose, CDL’s team “teaches beyond the classroom so our youth will reach beyond the classroom." Team CDL’s innovative idea is SPARC, Student Potential combined with Athletic Readiness = CHAMPIONS. The focus of the CDL SPARC program is to support champions in the classroom and competition by addressing food insecurity amongst student athletes. Our vision for year one is to have SPARC fueling stations strategically placed in partnering cafes, bodegas, and gas stations where student athletes can access nutritious snacks & meals before & after practice or games with their SPARC cards.
