PROVIDENCE, RISocial Enterprise Greenhouse (SEG) have announced a handful of promotions and a new hire within their leadership team. SEG welcomed Kim Keough as the new Director of Development and elevated the roles of Constance Ferber and Beatrice Mondestil to Senior Director of Community & Economic Development and Director of Communications respectively.

“The addition of a seasoned, results driven leader like Kim and the promotions of Constance and Beatrice are part of a larger strategic plan to better meet the needs of the community we serve,” said Julie Owens, CEO, SEG

Keough comes to SEG with nearly two decades of experience in journalism, strategic communications, public relations, television production, crisis communications, social media, and team management. Her previous experience includes roles with Rhode Island PBS, Director of Communications with the Rhode Island Convention Center Authority, and AVP of Public Relations with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. In her role as Director of Development, Keough will collaborate with the SEG leadership team to take on a comprehensive approach to the advancement of strategic goals, constituent, and community relationships and fundraising.

Ferber steps into her new role as Senior Director of Community & Economic Development after previously holding titles in strategy and business development with SEG for more than four years. The promotion is part of SEG’s broader strategy centered around its recent growth in outreach work, partnerships, and community presence all in an effort to pivot the organization’s approach to offer more custom, individualized support for today’s entrepreneurs. Her previous experience includes six years with Nonprofit New York – an organization that champions and strengthens nonprofits through capacity building and advocacy – where she served in similar capacities ultimately rising to the role of Knowledge Director.

Mondestil has been with SEG just over a year previously serving in the role of Senior Marketing and Communications Manager. Prior to SEG, she worked with Achievement First, Waterfire Providence, and PiNZ Entertainment. Mondestil brings six plus years of experience in graphic design, marketing and event planning to the leadership team at SEG. As Director of Communications, she will lead creative storytelling, detailed marketing and communications planning, visual and graphic design, and content development across all platforms and mediums while elevating the organization’s visibility locally, regionally and nationally.
