Social Enterprise Greenhouse Will Host a Welcome Launch at Still on Main on September 12, Announces Jessica Vega as Pawtucket/Central Falls Program Director

Providence, R.I. (August 20, 2019) – Social Enterprise Greenhouse will host a Welcome Launch to celebrate the official start of its programs for social entrepreneurs in Pawtucket and Central Falls. The event will be held at Still on Main (250 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860) on Thursday, September 12, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature a program of guest speakers and highlight the business development services Social Enterprise Greenhouse provides to entrepreneurs whose mission is to positively impact their communities. All are welcome.

Social Enterprise Greenhouse is growing its services in Pawtucket and Central Falls as part of a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Agency. The goal of the initiative is to provide more businesses and entrepreneurs, particularly those in designated Opportunity Zones, with access to the resources of Rhode Island’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The event will also introduce Jessica Vega as Pawtucket/Central Falls Program Director for Social Enterprise Greenhouse. Vega’s main responsibility is to develop and implement programming for social entrepreneurs in the Pawtucket and Central Falls communities. A strong advocate for youth and families, Vega brings a wealth of experience working with leaders and stakeholders to support and empower both communities. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Rhode Island College and an M.A. in Community Development from Roger Williams University. She also serves on the City Council of Central Falls and is Chair of the Juvenile Hearing Board in Central Falls.
