The Social Enterprise Greenhouse Hub at 10 Davol Square in Providence is Rhode Island’s first community and coworking space where social entrepreneurs, mentors and business professionals come together to network and collaborate. Our Hub is a thriving, well-resourced coworking and meeting space for people who are creating ‘do well, do good’ businesses in our state. Thanks to a generous group of donors, we have recently expanded our Hub to double its coworking capacity. Our expanded Hub allows us to serve more social entrepreneurs, and to serve them better, for years to come.
On Thursday, May 2, we hosted a gathering to celebrate the grand opening of our expanded Hub! We thank all our ventures, advisors, partners, donors, and friends who celebrated with us. The evening was packed with great conversations, networking opportunities, and new business connections for members of the Rhode Island social impact community. Guest speakers included Seth Magaziner, RI General Treasurer; Brett Smiley, Chief of Staff for Governor Gina Raimondo; and Scott Jensen, Director of the RI Department of Labor and Training. In addition, several local social entrepreneurs who have benefited from SEG services and support shared their inspiring stories: Eric Bai of TextUp, Geoffrey Capraro of NaloxBox, Eugenio Fernandez Jr. of Asthenis, James Monteiro of ReEntry Campus, and Philip Trevvett of Urban Greens.
We invite you to come and visit our Hub to see what it’s all about. Learn more or book a tour!
